Whether you’re into outdoorsy adventures, music and art or just sitting down to enjoy a fresh seafood supper, there’s a festival waiting for you in Atlantic Canada this summer.

THE ICEBERG FESTIVAL ST. ANTHONY, N.L.

This unique festival celebrates the coming of spring in the north and the annual arrival of icebergs.You can dip your toes in the North Atlantic, feast on freshly caught seafood and savour the down-home hospitalit­y and entertainm­ent. June 1-10, 2018.

SHEDIAC LOBSTER FESTIVAL SHEDIAC, N.B.

A 26-metre long lobster roll?! Sign us up! The Shediac Lobster Festival is always a buttery good time where the motto is BYOB — Bring Your Own Bib. July 4-8,2018.

CAVENDISH BEACH MUSICAL FESTIVAL CAVENDISH, P.E.I.

You can’t miss the largest multi-day outdoor music festival in Atlantic Canada .More than 70,000 people turn up every year for this annual music explosion, and this year’s headliner is Luke Bryan. July 6-9, 2018.

SEA HARVEST FESTIVAL MEAT COVE, N.S.

This is the perfect time to cruise along Cape Breton’s famous Cabot Trail. Tuck in to hearty lobster dinners and great live music and dancing, or spend your days kayaking and whalewatch­ing. July 8-15, 2018.

INSPIRE FESTIVAL, MONCTON, N.B.

This seven-day celebratio­n of street art transforms the city of Moncton with murals ,live art, interactiv­e installati­ons and performanc­es.You can even “become the canvas” at the popular Colour Party in the Park. July 9-14, 2018.

THE PIRATES HAVEN ANNUAL CRAB FESTIVAL ROBINSONS, N.L.

Where else can you enjoy daily fresh crab suppers cooked by a pirate? There are also guided ATV tours, toe-tapping music, dances and more. July 23-24,2018.

HALIFAX INTERNATIO­NAL BUSKER FESTIVAL HALIFAX, N.S.

This six-day festival mobs the Halifax waterfront with talented performers from all over the globe. Prepare yourself for unbelievab­le acrobatics, magic, music, comedy — and don’t forget to “tip the hat,” as that’s the only way the performers are paid! Aug. 1-6, 2018.

GANDER’S FESTIVAL OF FLIGHT GANDER, N.L.

This long-running festival includes tons of children’s activities, musical performanc­es, picnics, fireworks, a demolition derby and a traditiona­l Newfoundla­nd breakfast with hundreds of new friends. Aug. 3-6, 2018.

THE FOLKSONG FESTIVAL MIRAMICHI, N.B.

Have a hoot at Canada’s longestrun­ning folk festival. This year, the celebrated band is none other than The Barra MacNeils. Aug. 5-10, 2018.

WHARF RAT RALLY DIGBY, N.S.

Motorcycli­sts come from all over to participat­e in the annual Poker Run, show-and-shine, biker games and even an obstacle course. Highlights include stunt shows, water shows, armwrestli­ng and motorcycle mania. Aug. 29-Sept. 2, 2018.

Eat your way across P.E.I. during more than 60 culinary events and one-of-a-kind taste experience­s. Fall Flavours also includes the P.E.I. Internatio­nal Shellfish Festival (Sept. 13-16, 2018) commonly known as the “Biggest Kitchen Party in Atlantic Canada. Sept. 1-Oct. 1, 2018.
