-

With heavy hearts the family of Rose Barron announce: our Irish Rose has passed away peacefully in the An Cala Palliative Care unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, into the waiting arms of our Heavenly Father on Monday May 28, 2018 at 2 p.m.

Rose was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and great-aunt to so many.

She was born October 9, 1941, in Glace Bay, NS, the youngest child of Frank and Catherine (Hanrahan) Barron. She lived in Glace Bay until her teens and then in Stratford, Ontario. After 58 years, she came back to her beloved Cape Breton. Her Cape Breton roots always ran deep.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Rita, Kay and Joan as well as brothers, Doug & Frank.
