Roots to Boots Festival begins Thursday

CHETICAMP — The annual Roots to Boots Festival will return this week.

Events begin in Cheticamp on Thursday and continue until Sunday.

The schedule of events is as follows:

THURSDAY

10 a.m., Guided hike, Salmon Pools.

8 p.m., Talent night, Doryman Pub and Grill.

8 p.m., Production of Theatre Temoin (presented in French).

FRIDAY

10 a.m., Guided hike, Salmon Pools.

10 a.m., Guided hike, Blueberry Mountain.

2 p.m., An afternoon of song, dance, food and storytelli­ng, La Magie entre cultures.

7:30 p.m., 125 years of history, Eglise Saint-Pierre. Invited guest Ronald Bourgeois.

SATURDAY

10 a.m., Guided hike, Salmon Pools.

10 a.m., Guided hike, Skyline Trail.

2 p.m., Fiddle music with Brent Aucoin and Hilda Chiasson.

9 p.m., Music at the Doryman Pub and Grill.

SUNDAY

10 a.m., Guided hike, Salmon Pools.

10 a.m., Father’s Day brunch with entertainm­ent, Salle paroissial­e de Saint-Joseph-du-Moine.

2 p.m., Guided hike, Montagne de Etchureaux, Grand Etang.

8 p.m., Evening camp fire with music, Grande Falaise.
