NADASDI, David William

-

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of David William Nadasdi, of Windsor, Hants Co., on Friday, June 29, 2018, just weeks shy of his 76th birthday. Born on July 25, 1942, in Montreal, he was the first son of the late Helen and William Nadasdi of Glace Bay. Dave fiercely loved and was loved by his surviving siblings, Irene McInnis, Irma (Wolf) Bester, Rose Pyke (Rod Hue), Jim (Willy) Nadasdi, Helen Nadasdi, Dianne (Jim) McMullin, Charlie (Natalie) Nadasdi, Mary Gale and Rita Nadasdi. He also left behind his cherished son and grandson, James and Travis Byrne.

He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Mike McInnis.

His many nieces and nephews knew him as an amazing uncle who held them near and dear to his heart. He was also loved by his dear friends who became part of his family in Windsor.

Dave was proud of his years of service in the RCAF, and of his 2nd career as a certified red seal electrician. He overcame many obstacles in his far too short 76 years. He was a kind and caring man who leaves behind a huge hole in the heart of many.

At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice. To place a donation card, please call Lindsay’s at (902) 798-2232.
