MARCHAND INVITED TO CAMP

Goaltender Chase Marchand has earned an invitation to the Chicago Blackhawks’ development camp from July 16-20 in Chicago. The Halifax native was the U Sports goaltender of the year in 2017-18 with the St. Francis Xavier X-Men as well as a first team all-Canadian and the Atlantic University Sport most valuable player. He helped the X-Men to a silver medal at nationals. The 22-year-old played 12 games for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in 2013-14.
