MacMILLAN, Daniel William (Mutty)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel William (Mutty) MacMillan on July 10, 2018 at Harbourstone Enhanced Care.

He was born to the late Louise and Daniel J. MacMillan on October 29, 1931.

Danny is survived by his children, Edith (Sydney), Wallace (Mira) and Duncan (Catalone); his grandchildren, Tony (Jenn) Campbell and Alyssa (Chad) Campbell-Green of Sydney and his two great-grandchildren, Colin and Paislee Campbell; brother, Ernie MacMillan (Baddeck); and two sisters, Katie Bell Hall and Peggy Hall of Sydney.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sheila Marie (Mailman) MacMillan; his sisters, Mary, Isabel, Rosie and Effie and brother, John Lauchie

Danny worked as a laborer for Parks Canada, retiring after 27 years of service.

Visitation will take place in MacMillan Memorial Church, Catalone from 2-4 and 7–9 on July 12th.

Funeral service to take place in the church the following day, July 13th, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Emily Duggan to officiate. Burial to follow at Loch End Cemetary.
