Summit organized

The Cape Breton Partnership’s annual investor summit will be held on Oct. 4 at the Keltic Lodge Resort.

The investor summit brings together more than 200 business, community and government officials from across Nova Scotia to discuss issues facing the local economy and to be able to provide input on how to build a strong economy in Cape Breton.

The Economic Impact Awards will also be presented at the investor summit. The awards recognize and celebrate companies and individuals who have made a significant impact on the Cape Breton economy through new investments.

Award winners are chosen based on their commitment and local work they have accomplished over the past year. The nomination form can be completed online or downloaded from the Cape Breton Partnership website at capebretonpartnership.com/events/investor-summit-2018/.

The deadline for nominations is Aug. 24 at 4 p.m. Online submissions may be sent by email to Stephanie MacLean at stephanie@capebretonpartnership.com.

Nomination forms will also be accepted by mail or in person at 285 Alexandra St., Sydney N.S., B1S 2E8.
