Sydney Waterfront Festival opens on Monday

Six days of summer activities under the umbrella of the Sydney Waterfront Festival begin at noon on Monday when Kidspree activities take over the waterfront boardwalk.

Games, inflatables, a reptile zoo and magic tricks are part of the festival’s opening day.

Highlights of the days that follow include outdoor activities, live musical events and a street festival

The festival will close with a bang on Aug. 11 with a concert and fireworks show on the boardwalk.

Monday

Noon - Kidspree - Sydney Boardwalk

9 p.m. - Movie in the Park: Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle - Wenworth Park

Tuesday

6 p.m. - 80s Yoga Nigh Charlotte Street, Sydney

Wednesday

6 p.m. - Teddy Bear Picnic Wentworth Park, Sydney

Thursday

6 p.m. - Amazing Race: Waterfront Edition - Sydney

Friday, Aug. 10

Noon - Street Festival Day 1 - Charlotte Street

6 p.m. - Carl Getto Jazz Quintet free outdoor show Charlotte Street

7 p.m. - Booty Boppin’ Brass Band - Charlotte Street

Saturday, Aug. 11

9 a.m. - YMCA Sidewalk Sale - Charlotte Street

10 a.m. - Street Festival Day 2 - Charlotte Street

6 p.m. - Concert and Fireworks - Sydney Boardwalk.
