Germaine Campbell, born November 18, 1939 was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Boutilier) Boychuck, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on August 25, 2018.

Mom was a homemaker, raised her eleven children, whom she loved dearly and was very proud of them. She was born in Reserve Mines and lived in Glace Bay most of her life. She loved dancing, was a member of the Pensioner’s Club and most of all, spending time with her family.

She is loving mother to Jimmy (Cindy), David (Linda), Carol (Marvin), John (Cindy), Donna, Darrell (Denise), Robert (Darrell), Sheri (Mike), Diane, Michael (Courtney), Leo (Christa); twenty grandchild­ren and fifteen great-grandchild­ren; sisters, Peggy (Art), Marie (Greg), Carol (George), Theresa (Doug), Eileen; brothers, Joseph, Barry and Gerry, as well as many nieces and nephews, and special friend, Richard King.

Besides her parents, she was also predecease­d by her first husband, James Burns, and second husband, Blaise Campbell; sisters, Betty, June; brothers, John (Cookie) and David.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, August 29 at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Parish, Reserve Mines with Father Boudreau officiatin­g. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Reserve Mines followed by a luncheon in the parish hall and all are welcome. Funeral arrangemen­ts are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 902-8687500.
