It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, grandfathe­r, greatgrand­father, brother, and uncle, Ralph Moore. Ralph passed away on August 25, 2018 at the Regional Hospital at the age of 84.

Ralph was born in Glace Bay on July 23, 1934 to the late Norman and Sarah Moore. He was employed at Devco, working as a miner and also at the Machine Shop. Besides spending time with his family and friends, Dad enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards.

Besides his parents, he was predecease­d by his wife of 53 years, Margie (Locke) and his son-in-law, Robert Hall.

Ralph is survived by his children, Cheryl Cleroux, Norman (Lynn), Shauna Hall, and Raymond (Anita). He is also survived by grandchild­ren, Andrew (Samantha) Cleroux, Anthony (Stephanie) Cleroux, Chantal (James) Cleroux, Breanna Metcalfe and Dylan Morash, and great-grandchild­ren, Thea and Isabelle. Also left to mourn are Ralph’s siblings, Norma (Louis) Brufatto, Dinah (Mike) Conran, Arthur (Maureen) Moore and Carolyn (Hans) Hansen, as well as many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Visitation will be held at Patten Funeral Home, Glace Bay on Wednesday, August 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Funeral service will take place at St. Mary’s Church, Marconi Street, Glace Bay on August 30, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Myrna MacMullin officiatin­g.
