SAMPSON, Natalie Theresa

On Friday August 3, 2018 surrounded by her loving family, Natalie Theresa Sampson passed peacefully after a brief battle with cancer.

Born in Sydney on November 12, 1957, she was 60 years old

Daughter of the late Walter and Theresa (Meany) MacPhee of Grand Lake Road.

Natalie was a wonderful lady who was always there for her friends and family.

A Strong independen­t woman who could accomplish anything she put her mind to.

She is survived by her two children, Kirk (Colleen) Sampson Macphee and Karla (Justin) Sampson; her grandchild­ren, Ashton, Jay and Delaney; her brother, Richard (Cheryl) Macphee; sisters, Jeanette MacDonald and brother-in-law, David ”Duff” Boudreau. As well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predecease­d by siblings, Walter Macphee, Diane Coadic and Kathy Boudreau.

We would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff of palliative care at the Cape Breton regional hospital and her friends, Lori Maclean and Gen MacLeod for all their help and support through these challengin­g times.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the An Cala Palliative Care Unit at the CBRH.

Visitation for Natalie will take place Thursday, Aug. 30th from 5-6 p.m. at S.W. Chant and Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney.

A celebratio­n of her life will take place immediatel­y following at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant to officiate.
