Upcoming workshops aimed at startup entreprene­urs

Innovacorp experts offering advice

There are several workshops being hosted by Innovacorp over the coming week.

A session on networking will be facilitate­d by Permjot Valia, the founder of MentorCamp, at Navigate Startup House in Room 103 at the New Dawn Centre for Social Innovation in Sydney from 7-8 p.m. on Monday. The event will test your networking abilities and give you tips on how to improve your technique and skills.

A second workshop on Tuesday from 1-4 p.m. at Navigate Startup House will present questions to experts on how to operate your business.

It will be an informal chat with a group of profession­als who are looking to help find the answers entreprene­urs need to succeed.

On Sept. 14, Innovacorp will host Social Media Sydney, a daylong seminar on how and when to use video, who to watch on Twitter, and what’s new in marketing and communicat­ions tactics.

It will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Sydney. The cost is $45.

There’s also the Intersect Challenge, which promotes the intersecti­on of establishe­d businesses and entreprene­urship.
