Excellence in Business Awards gala on Oct. 18
The Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced the finalists in each category for the 29th annual Excellence in Business Awards.
The finalists in each category are:

There are also awards to be handed out in people’s choice categories which are community voted during the nomination process:
• Best place to dine in the CBRM
• Best place to shop in the CBRM
• CBRM ambassador of the year
• Best effort to improve the CBRM
• Best community project in the CBRM There will be one winner selected in each category and winners be announced the night of the awards.

The gala will take place Oct. 18 at the Membertou Trade and Convention Centre with a reception at 6 p.m. and the dinner and awards beginning at 7 p.m.
