Roads closed for Hometown Hockey

GLACE BAY – Cape Breton Regional Police are advising that some roads in Glace Bay will be closed for Rogers Hometown Hockey.

From today at 6:30p.m., McKeen Street will be closed to traffic between Main and Queen streets. This closure lasts until Nov. 12.

This closure is for equipment set up today and Fridayand for Hometown Hockey festivitie­s on Nov. 10-11 which include a ball hockey tournament. There will also be no parking allowed on Cottage, Bay and Queen streets in Glace Bay on Nov. 10-11 and motorists are asked to obey all temporary signage during the festival. Police also say motorists should expect traffic delays during this time in that area and ask drivers to pay extra attention to pedestrian­s.
