Cape Breton West High School Hockey League underway

PORT HAWKESBURY — The Cape Breton West High School Hockey League is underway for the 2018-19 season.

Teams competing in the league this year include Dalbrae Academy, Eskasoni, Richmond Academy, and Strait Area Education Recreation Centre. Inverness Education Centre/Academy and Baddeck Academy will form a single team this season. A notable absence from the league this year is École NDA of Cheticamp, who will not ice a team this season.

League play resumes on Friday night with Inverness/Baddeck hosting Strait Area Education Recreation Centre at 7:30 p.m. in Inverness, while Dalbrae will host Richmond Academy at 7:30 p.m. in Port Hood.
