RUDDERHAM, Rose

-

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, Rose Rudderham, who passed away peacefully on November 9, 2018 surrounded by her family. Born in Point Aconi on March 24, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Lucy (Brown) Stubbert.

Ma was loved and adored by many, her heart and her home was always open to anyone for a nice cup of tea and her homemade treats. We will miss that Ma.

She is predeceased by sons, Emmett, Earl, Johnny, and daughter, Lucy.

Left behind to mourn her loss are her seven children whom she loved, admired and adored, three sons, Michael, Eric and David, and daughters, Connie, Sheila, Angie and Holly, along with Holly’s husband Hooker, who became more than a sonin-law but a son who has extended his heart and his help, she loves you dearly. Also left behind to mourn is her special daughter, Nicole Arsenault, she spoke of you often and proudly, she loves you Nicole, along with many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren who were the lights of her life.

Mom, your spirit, love and love of family gatherings lives on in all of us. We are truly blessed.

Thank you to the VON for their years of care and to the ICU at the CBRH. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at CBRH. The dignity, care and respect you have shown to Mom as well as us, is amazing.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 in the JM Jobes Funeral Home, Sydney Mines, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. A Celebration of Rose’s life will follow in the Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Burial to follow in Point Aconi Cemetery.
