WAGNER, Nancy Corrine

-

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Nancy Corrine Wagner (Macleod). Nancy was born on September 9, 1960 and passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Nancy grew up in Grand River, Cape Breton with her parents Angus John (A.J), Jean Macleod (Bartholomew) and her brother Richard Macleod. She spent her life sharing stories from her childhood, and how she and Richard spent a lot of time on their family fishing boat and at the community hall for events, fundraisers and community breakfasts. Nancy was one of a kind. Those who knew her described Nancy as a kind and caring, old soul. She would welcome you to her house day or night with open arms, put on a pot of tea and would whip up a batch of her famous chocolate chip muffins. Nancy loved nothing more than spending time with her two grandsons, Beckham and Landon (Kristina) and with “the girls” Janet and Michele; going for lunch, picking berries in the valley and shopping trips to the states. We would like to thank the entire Linden/leblanc family for stepping in when our mother became sick and helping us in ways we never expected. We are blessed and thankful for you all. Nancy is survived by her three daughters, Kristina (Sean) Wagner-hornbuckle, twins Jeanna and Jillian Wagner; father, A.J. Macleod; brother, Richard Macleod, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Nancy was predeceased by her mother, Jean Macleod and her husband, Bruce Wagner (Mabel and Cy Wagner). Cremation took place April 29, 2020 and funeral service will be arranged at a later date due to covid restrictions.
