My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for a while now but it seems we’ve been missing out on one critical component to fertility — being incredibly famous.
Lockdown may be stopping celebrities from filming movies, touring and getting Botox, but it hasn’t been stopping them from birth and pregnancy announcements.
ANDERSON COOPER IS A DAD!
The CNN anchor welcomed son, Wyatt Morgan Cooper, into the world on April 27 via a surrogate. Cooper shared photos of baby Wyatt on his Instagram with a detailed caption of how he became a father.
HADID AND MALIK ARE EXPECTING!
A genetically blessed human will be joining us in about six months. Model Gigi Hadid and former One Direction bandmate Zayne Malik are going to be parents. The 25-year-old model confirmed the pregnancy on “The Tonight Show” after it was being reported by various media outlets.
LEA MICHELE IS PREGNANT!
Actress and singer Lea Michele shared an Instagram photo holding her pregnant bump with the caption “So grateful.” The photo is exactly what I look like after three beers and a plate of nachos, but it’s pretty clear she is "with child" and not "with burrito bloat." This will be Lea’s first child with her husband, businessman Zandy Reich.
PRATT AND SCHWARZENEGGER HAVIN A BABY!
People magazine reported the couple were expecting and Chris Pratt later confirmed the news via an Instagram live with his mother-inlaw, Maria Shriver, and brother-in-law, Patrick Schwarzenegger. This will be the Chris and Katherine’s first child together and Pratt’s second (he shares seven-yearold son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris).
HARTS ANNOUNCE BABY NUMBER TWO!
Comedian Kevin Hart’s wife, Eniko, announced her pregnancy with a very sensual bump picture. She captioned the photo, “Baby #2. In the midst of all of this we’re counting our blessings and couldn’t be more grateful! Soon to be a family of 6!” The duo are parents to toddler Kenzo Kash and Kevin shares two daughters with his exwife.
PERRY AND BLOOM ARE HAVING A BABY!
On March 4, singer Katy Perry announced her pregnancy in her music video for “Never Worn White.” This will be the first baby for the engaged couple, but luckily Orlando Bloom has some baby experience as he shares nineyear-old son, Flynn, with exwife model, Miranda Kerr.
NIKKI AND BRIE BELLA HAVE MATCHING PREGNANCIES!
These WWE wrestling reality star twins are so in sync that they got pregnant at the same time. Brie is expecting her second child with husband, pro wrestler Daniel Bryan. Nikki is expecting her first child with her fiancé, professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev. Try saying that last name five times!
Congratulations to all of these expecting celebrities. And congratulations to me, the person who bought a Kitchenaid mixer because I convinced myself I’d continue to bake my own bread after this pandemic.
