It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear husband, father, grandfathe­r, brother, uncle and friend ‘Uncle Buck’, age 64 on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Born in Sydney, N.S. on December 24, 1955, he was the son of the late George Jeddore and Mary Rita (Googoo, Jeddore, Toney). Left to mourn are his wife, Linda (Herney); his daughters, Katie (Nolan), Tiffany (Matt); sons, George (Katrina), Noel (Kylie); stepchildr­en, Roger (Vikki) and Belinda (Wilfred); 15 grandchild­ren and godchildre­n; brothers, Allan (Vivian), Gerard (Cheryl), John David, Ruben (Mary Agnes), Frank (Treena), of Eskasoni; sisters, Sheila, Claudine; sister-inlaw, Beverly, all of Eskasoni, Georgina (Senator Brian Francis), PEI; aunties, Dianne Denny, Eskasoni, Jeanie Jeans (Macdonald); and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predecease­d by his siblings, Mary Eileen (infancy), Terrance Patrick and Andrew Blaise; and brothers-in-law, Norman, Morris and Jason Johnson. George was a Powwow Traditiona­l dancer and singer, he enjoyed VLT’S and playing poker and socializin­g with his family and friends. He loved his birthday and didn’t allow his family to forget it. He was a kind-hearted person, humble and respectful. Visitation will take place at TW Curry Parkview Chapel on Monday, June 22 from 1 until 4 and again from 7 until 9p.m. A procession through the community of Eskasoni will take place on Tuesday, June 23 commencing at 10:30a.m. and ending with prayers and interment in Holy Family Parish Cemetery.
