7 DAY FORECAST, CAPE BRETON

-

CINDY SAYS: Can’t travel to the tropics? No problem, a very tropical air mass has come to visit. This warm, humid air is about all we can expect from the weekend hurricane that made landfall along the North Carolina coast late Monday evening. What is left of Isaias is being steered west of the region by a well-positioned Bermuda High. As the system transitions to an extra-tropical storm, it will develop a warm and cold front. The cold front is expected to push across the island early Thursday. The end of the week will be much less humid but only slightly cooler. Another little heatwave will set up across the region this weekend and linger into the middle part of next week.
