DUNN, Donald Anthony ‘Tony’ Dominion

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tony Dunn, age 87, at Harboursto­ne Enhanced Care Facility on November 27, 2020. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Michael and Elizabeth (MacNeil) Dunn. Tony was employed as a miner with Devco until 1974. Dad loved spending time with his family and friends, as well as shooting a game of darts. He will be forever missed by all who knew him. He is now with all of his loved ones who passed away before him. Tony is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Sylvia (McIntyre); son, Tony Dunn; daughters, Valerie (Francis) Hurley and Janet (Greg) Dunn-Sebean; his precious grandchild­ren, Jennifer Musial, Raymond Dunn, Devon Dunn, Jaclyn Dunn, Kyra Dunn, Kyle Dunn, Isabelle Dunn, Alyssa MacKinnon, Samantha MacKinnon, Brooke MacDonald, and Morgan MacDonald; brother, Michael Joey Dunn, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Michael and Elizabeth; Tony was predecease­d by his sons, Francis and Michael Dunn; brothers, Gerard and Francis Dunn; sisters, Matilda Dauphinee, Patricia Ferguson, and Margaret Molesky. We the family would like to thank all of the nurses, CCA’s, housekeepi­ng and kitchen staff of the Steel Worker’s Lane at Harboursto­ne Enhanced Care Facility, for giving Dad such amazing care during his stay there. Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebratio­n of Life for Tony on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 11 a.m., with Fr. Daniel Boudreau officiatin­g at T.J.
