It will appear weekly on Fridays and the deadline for submission­s is the Wednesday previous at noon but to ensure adequate advance publicatio­n, submit notices at least two weeks prior to the event. FRIDAY, DEC. 4 DOMINION

11 a.m.-1 p.m., Good Food Bus Pop-Up Market will be at the Dominion fire hall. First 10 customers get $10 off their purchase of fresh fruit and vegetables.

NORTH SYDNEY

12-4 p.m., Indoor yard sale at the Five Eleven Youth and Family Centre, 127 Brooke St. Entry is a donation at the door which goes towards the cost of programs at the centre. Wear a mask and sanitize upon entering the building.

SATURDAY, DEC. 5 GLACE BAY

2-4 p.m., The Old Town Hall, including the museum, gift shop and second-hand bookstore, are open, 14 McKeen St. Wear a mask and social distance.

NORTH SYDNEY

9 a.m.-1 p.m., Canadian Tire and the North Sydney Fire and Rescue will be holding a toy drive in the Canadian Tire parking lot. There will be fire trucks and one will be stuffed until there is no more room. Those who donate will have an opportunit­y to win a high-def 55-inch TV.

6:30-8 p.m., Bells of Care Christmas Celebratio­n will be live on the Northside Community Guest Home Foundation­s’s Facebook page. Donated bells will be placed on a Christmas tree and all money raised will be used for the residents.
