MRAZEK, Shirley Violet Albert Bridge

It is with broken hearts that we, the family of Shirley Violet Mrazek, share the sad news of her passing on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Hubert and Clarice Hallett. Shirley leaves behind the love of her life, Joe. They met as teenagers, dating for four years and the love story continued for 68 more years after marrying in 1952. In the earlier years, Shirley was a stay-at-home Mom lovingly caring for her girls and her Joe. Always caring for her family and others was top priority. At age 50, she went to work at the Macgillivray Guest Home as a PCW, where she tenderly cared for the elderly and infirm. She did this for 12 years until her retirement at age 62 because of an injury making her unable to continue the work she loved. She always had a lovely garden and many received her homemade jams, pickles and other goodies as gifts. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Shirley also had a strong love for her God, Jehovah and her faith gave her a wonderful hope for the future. She loved to share this hope with others. Rev. 21: 3, 4 “and God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” Surviving along with her husband, Joe are her sister, Edna Munroe; daughters, Clarice (Linwood), Kathleen and Cynthia; grandchildren, Kathy-jo (Doug), TracyLin, Stephanie (Adam), Rebecca (Jonathan), Lee, Tarynn and Raychel; seven great-grandchildren, Darla (Cameron), Joey, Jordan, Tyler, Riley, Alex and Yasemin. All her girls and boys were the light of her life. Also left to mourn are many nieces and nephews and so many friends. Shirley was predeceased by her siblings, Melvin (in infancy), Raymond, Evelyn, Marjorie and Dorothy; and son Joseph Charles (in infancy). There will be no visitation.
