SNOW-MCGUIGAN, Victor Joseph

-

It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, Victor Joseph Snow-McGuigan in a tragic accident on Saturday, December 12, 2020. Born April 17, 2001, in North Sydney, he was the son of Kenneth and Jean (Snow) McGuigan. Victor graduated from Memorial High School with a certificate in welding. In 2019, he won silver in a Skills Canada Nova Scotia welding competition. He then started his welding career at Island Machine in Sydney. All those who knew Victor were inspired by his love of life and adventure and he always managed to get people to push themselves out of their comfort zone to be the best they could be. He loved the adrenaline rush of life and he wanted to share it with everyone he cared for. Victor enjoyed motorbike rides, snowboarding, skydiving and being on the water, but most importantly was time spent with family and friends. Victor was so blessed to find his person in Nicky. They have a special bond that will never be broken. Victor was the best big brother a girl could ask for. Nicky and Victor included his little sister, Victoria in so many of their adventures and daily activities. His kind and caring demeanor was also shown through his love of all animals, especially for his puppy, Roxy and his bearded dragon, Sanchez. He will be forever missed and in the hearts of his loving parents, Kenneth and Jean; sister, Victoria; beloved girlfriend, Nicky Donovan; and so many aunts, uncles, cousins and his loyal loving friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Words of comfort can be sent to the family at www.sydneymemorialchapel.ca or e-mail sydneymemorialchapel@ns.sympatico.ca.
