ODO, Sandra Rose New Waterford/Halifax

-

It is with deepest sorrow we the family announce the passing of Sandra Rose Odo, age 68, on January 2, 2021. Born in New Waterford she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Theresa (Burns) Odo. She was well known in the community when working at Campbell’s Warehouse where she had met many friends and colleagues over the years. To those who knew her, they lost a very special lady. She was a mother, sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend. To the ladies of Nicholson Court, we thank you for your kindness, generosity and friendship. She had a bright personality, an infectious smile and was loved dearly by her family. You always knew you were loved and cared for by her, she always told you she loved you no matter what, whether you were family or a friend. She never forgot your birthday or a holiday, she always had something special for you. Family was everything to her. She was proud of her family, especially her son Brian (Tony) Campbell, he was her everything. She loved music and dancing, either at home, driving her car, or at the dances she was always singing or dancing to a tune. She also had the love for the game of softball where she was in a women’s league for many years, if you couldn’t find her, she was on the field playing a game of ball amongst friends and loved every minute of it. She will be missed every day by her beloved son, Brian (Tony) Campbell and his spouse, Dana McCourt; brothers, Michael (Susan), Edward (Wendy), Cyril; sister, Melinda Frazee; nieces, Michelle, Sandra, Ashley, Allison, Ainslie, Brianna; nephews, Tony and Ryan, whom she all loved dearly. It brings us great comfort that you are now dancing and singing with your Mom and Dad and loved ones again, gone far too soon but the memory of Sandra will forever be etched in our hearts, Until We Meet Again. Cremation has taken place and a chapel service will be held on Jan. 8, 2021 at 1 p.m. with Fr. Peter McLeod officiating and Covid-19 restrictions are in place. Burial in St. Michaels Cemetery.
