Robe r t (Rob/Bob) Snow aged 76, of Birch Grove, passed away peacefully at his family home. Rob was born May 22, 1944 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. He went to Ontario as a young man to work and he came back home to Cape Breton in 2007 to retire. Rob was happiest when he was out working. He decided to go back to work and got a job at Home Hardware in Sydney. He liked being around people and helping them out. He looked forwarded to his nightly chats with his sister Leah. He enjoyed coaching his three sons in baseball, hunting and fishing with his older brother Ches and camping with his sister Flora’s family. Rob had a big heart for others. Rob is survived by his sisters, Leah Ferguson, Flora Antonello (Pius); brother, Chesley Snow (Maisie); special family members, Karen Brewer, Valerie Bourgeois, Nancy Carson and Norma Carson as well as his many nieces and nephews. He was predecease­d by his parents, Mary Louise and John Snow; sisters, Sadie Snow, Mable Kibyuk, Louise Carson, Emily Lynk and brothers, William, Andy and Charles (in infancy). Rob is missed by his three sons, Keith (Sandra), Troy (Lynn) and Trevor. A memorial will take place at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery.
