Card of Thanks Percy Shepard

-

The family of the late Percy Shepard would like to express our sincere thanks to and every one that has supported us during these difficult times. The over whelming outpouring from all who have sent thoughtful condolences, emails, online tributes, calls, beautiful cards, and food is appreciated more than mere words could possibly say. Also, for those that sent money or made donations to a charity, society, or Louisbourg Legion Branch No. 62, in memory of Percy, we thank you. We would like to thank the EMT’S and doctors and nursing staff of 4B of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for their compassionate and professional care. A very special thank you to the following: Dr. susan Ritcey, Percy’s family physician, for your support, professional guidance and care over these past number of years; to Personal Care Worker Carol and Wanda for staying with Percy overnights while in the hospital and providing comfort during his final days; to Bruce MacDonald , and members of Louisbourg Legion Branch No. 62 for the graveside ceremony ; and to Lawrence Troke who visited Percy on many Sunday afternoons to listen to his stories and talk with him. Also, a very special than you to Rev. Emily Duggan; your prayers, guidance, and love as we laid Percy to rest will always be remembered. We also wish to thank Sydney Memorial Chapel Kolin Weatherbee, Funeral Director and Kenneth MacKenzie, organist and vocalist who sang the Old Rugged Cross, for being so respectful, caring, and helpful with their services in this time of need. My God Bless each and everyone.
