Hockey Wives
Two newcomers join the familiar faces as this hit unscripted series, which provides an inside look at the lives of the wives and significant others of hockey stars, opens its second season. Music star Keshia Chante, the girlfriend of Philadelphia Flyers goalie Ray Emery, and Montreal-based philanthropist Rhianna Weaver, wife of veteran Canadiens defenceman Mike Weaver, are the newbies; returnees include Tiffany Parros, Kodette LaBarbera, Noureen DeWulf, Martine Forget and Maripier Morin. THE INCREDIBLE FOOD RACE
This new reality competition series pits two families against each other in a series of foodrelated challenges culminating in a cook-off, for a chance to win a year’s supply of free groceries. In the première, the athletic Snyman family competes against the vegan Buddle-Gills. Rick Campanelli (Entertainment Tonight Canada) is the host, while Food Network Canada’s Chef Corbin Tomaszeski serves as commentator and mentor to the rival chefs. (Food Network)

Technically, the official Halloween-themed episode doesn’t air until next week, but pretty much any chapter from this nightmare-inducing series is appropriate for the witching season. In the new Devil’s Night, John (Wes Bentley) receives an invitation to attend an exclusive Devil’s Night Soiree — and with a cheery name like that, how can he say no? A new Halloween-themed episode called The Real Conjuring, explores the true details in the story that inspired the 2013 horror movie blockbuster The Conjuring.
