Rollover kills two on road repair crew

Two men were killed in northern Alberta on Monday morning when a large asphalt reclaiming machine they were in rolled into a ditch near Beaverlodge in northwest Alberta. RCMP said the rollover happened on a construction site on Highway 672 between Range Road 81 and Township Road 274. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered the vehicle on its roof in the ditch. The two male occupants, subcontractors for a Ledcor road paving job, were pronounced dead at the scene. Beaverlodge is about 500 km northwest of Edmonton.
