Parent thankful for K-Days experience

As a father of two children with special needs, my days are filled with love, energy and complexity.

It was an amazing gift to participate in the Monday Morning Magic at K-Days. My family felt very fortunate to experience the empathy, understanding and patience of so many.

We walked through a tunnel lined with Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Edmonton Fire Rescue Services, Edmonton Eskimos Football Club and Cheer Team, U of A Football Club and Cheer Team, Edmonton Oil Kings and Edmonton Prospects. This set the scene for the caring nature of the event. Most impressive was the even larger tunnel we walked through as we exited when the children were given large teddy bears. I found myself overwhelmed with emotion that so many people made such a significant effort to show support for us.
