Too many projects, not enough workers

Why is it most constructi­on sites are understaff­ed?

How many times have I come across constructi­on-zone signs to see only a few people actually working on a site that stretches blocks? Many times I see no one working for days or weeks.

These delays at each constructi­on site inconvenie­nce people for months. If the city actually planned and started fewer projects, with more people and equipment per site, each project would get done quicker and citizens would be inconvenie­nced a lot less. Tom Olthoff, Sherwood Park
