Watson has been the team’s rock at the back and one of the main reasons for the team’s strong defensive play this season. Cosmos: Juan Arango The former Venezuelan internatio­nal led the Cosmos with four goals in the spring season and scored on a free kick in the 2-2 tie against the Tampa Bay Rowdies this past Saturday. Arango, 36, may not be the attacking threat he once was, but still has an innate ability to score when left unattended. COMING IN FC Edmonton goes into the contest off a 1-0 loss at the Indy Eleven on Saturday. The loss was Edmonton’s first in the NASL fall season schedule. FC Edmonton has six-game home winning streak heading into their contest with the Cosmos. The two teams met at Clarke Stadium during the spring season with Edmonton pulling out a 2-1 victory. New York currently sits in a tie for top spot in the fall season standings, but were disappoint­ed in a 2-2 draw, on the road, against the Tampa Bay Rowdies on Saturday. New York were up 2-0 with five minutes left in the game, but conceded two late goals in the contest.
