Olympic logo used by Rio drug gangs

Rio de Janeiro’s drug dealers are seizing the Olympic spirit as tourists start arriving ahead of the games that begin next week. A recent drug bust in the Lapa bar district turned up 93 packets of cocaine, 28 baggies of crack and some ammunition for a 0.40 calibre gun. Photos posted on the police Facebook page show a packet that says “Rio 2016” with the Olympic rings. It warns: “Not for use near children.”
