Let committee reform work
The Government of Alberta should not put the Select Special Ethics and Accountability Committee on the scrap heap. Instead it should extend its mandate to get all its remaining agenda fulfilled including democratic rules on Alberta elections, election financing, whistleblower and conflict of interest rules.
They should use all their power to force the PCs, the Wildrose, the Liberals and the Alberta Party to swallow their pride and act like adults instead of two-year-old kids and allow the committee’s agenda to be fulfilled as planned — urgently and permanently — with no foot dragging.
