Adams nominated for songwriters hall
Bryan Adams, one of Canada’s best known singer-songwriters, is one of the nominees for the 2017 Songwriters Hall of Fame. Adams broke onto the scene in 1983 with such global hits as Cuts Like a Knife, Run to You and Summer of ’69. He had another huge hit with (Everything I Do) I Do it for You, which was nominated for an Academy Award in 1992 and featured in the Kevin Costner movie Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Celebrated lyricist and entertainer Jay Z was also nominated.
