Police seek to identify assault suspect
Edmonton police are asking the public to help identify a man after a south Edmonton assault in December.
Police were called to a disturbance in South Edmonton Common on Dec. 26 around 10 p.m. A man was reported to have been assaulted with a weapon.
An ambulance took the assault victim to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect fled before police arrived.
Investigators have released surveillance photos and are asking with any information about the case to contact police.
