Edmonton Oilers (36-24-9), 81 points vs. Boston Bruins (38-26-6) 7 p.m. Sportsnet, 630 CHED

WHO TO WATCH

Oilers — LW Milan Lucic The big fella has seven points in his last seven games, three goals and has 40 points on the season. He’s one of six Oilers forwards to play all 69 games — Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Patrick Maroon, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Jordan Eberle included. He’s been remarkably durable, playing all but 10 games over the past seven seasons. He’s never had a season where he’s played every game, however.

Bruins — LW Brad Marchand

He was excellent on a Team Canada line with Sidney Crosby at the World Cup and has kept it going ever since. He enters Thursday’s game with 75 points, chasing Connor McDavid and Patrick Kane (76) for the scoring title. He now leads the league in goals with 36 after scoring 37 last season. One of the few players who is scoring more as an NHLer than as a junior (33 goals with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s Val-d’Or Foreurs in 2006-07.) GAME NOTES

Oilers winger Zack Kassian will play his 300th NHL game when the Bruins come to town … Bruins went with backup goalie Anton Khudobin against the Flames in Calgary, so the No. 1 guy Tuukka Rask, who’s played 55 games, fourth to Cam Talbot’s 62 for the Oilers, brings a 2.24 goals-against average, 33 wins and six shutouts into game … Bruins third-line centre Ryan Spooner, who missed three games with a concussion when elbowed on the chin by Ottawa’s Viktor Stalberg, was back for the Calgary game. David Pastrnak is riding a 10-game points streak. He has the longest current streak. Longest point streak this season is 12 by Minnesota’s Mikael Granlund … Patrice Bergeron and Marchand both have seven game-winners for Boston. Bergeron was No. 1 in NHL faceoff wins at 59.2 per cent before Wednesday’s game and the Bruins were No. 3 overall at 53 per cent. Oilers are 30th at 47.2 … Talbot has more saves (1,670) than any other NHL goalie this year in his league-high 3,681 minutes played … David Desharnais has three points (two goals on seven shots) in his five Oilers games and is a plus-2. He’s averaging 12 1/2 minutes a game as No. 3 centre. INJURIES

Oilers: Tyler Pitlick (knee).

Bruins: C Tim Schaller (upper body). Jim Matheson
