GREAT PERFORMANC­ES AT THE MET

The 11th season of the opera-based series continues with La Traviata; it’s a revival of Willy Decker’s staging of the piece and is conducted by Nicola Luisotti. Soprano Sonya Yoncheva sings as the tragic courtesan, Violetta, in Verdi’s classic, with tenor Michael Fabiano as her ardent lover, Alfredo. Baritone Thomas Hampson plays Alfredo’s disapprovi­ng father, Germont. (PBS)

MACGYVER

It’s a rebroadcas­t from January, titled Large Blade. On the way back from capturing a war criminal, Mac (Lucas Till) and Jack’s (George Eads) helicopter crashes in Kazakhstan, allowing their prisoner to escape with Jack’s gun. Using a large blade and a water bottle, MacGyver must get help as the pilot’s condition worsens and before the war criminal takes them as prisoners. (Global)

DARK MATTER

In the Season 3 finale of the homegrown sci-fi series, Nowhere to Go, the crew of the Raza attempts to unite the enemies of Ferrous Corp. and put an end to the corporate war before the new fleet can be used. Melissa O’Neil, Anthony Lemke and Alex Mallari Jr. star. (Space)

WILD BEAR RESCUE

The first season of this docu-series set at the Northern Lights Wildlife Society in Smithers, B.C., continues. The not-for-profit operation continues its mission to rehabilita­te bears and launch them into the wild, but there’s drama to be dealt with first. Cubs fight over food as zookeeper Angelika Langen struggles to feed them all. Plus, a shelter fawn goes missing, and a rescue gets dangerous when a cub feels cornered. (Animal Planet)

SHARK TANK

An episode from May repeats. Among the inventions that need funding is a solution to underarm sweat marks and stains and a belt buckle that doubles as a wallet. Plus, there’s a business that helps empower farmers in a war-torn country by helping them cultivate and harvest saffron. Watch for a followup with LovePop, a brand of 3D paper pop-up greeting cards that earned an investment offer from Kevin O’Leary. (CTV/ ABC)
