Rob Agostinis

Agostinis, 56, is a doctor and founder of the Terwillega­r Riverbend Advisory Council, which helped get the Terwillega­r Rec Centre built. He was awarded a Salute To Excellence Citation Award in Community Services and serves on the Mayor’s Task Force on Poverty.

Tim Cartmell

Cartmell, 51, is the owneropera­tor of Lemtra Projects, a structural engineerin­g consulting firm. He’s also president of the Terwillega­r Riverbend Advisory Council. He has past experience working with both Edmonton Catholic Schools and Northlands.

Mark Hope

Hope, 31, works in marketing and business developmen­t and has spent more than a year travelling overseas. He studied business admin at NAIT and says he’s willing to work hard to reduce spending and bring the “collective experience” of residents to bear in council decisions.

Payman Parseyan

Parseyan, 28, is a former peace officer and business owner. He owns a consulting company doing pipeline precommiss­ioning, and runs a Persian restaurant and a real estate team. He also coaches mixed martial arts. Parseyan immigrated from Iran, coming to Edmonton in 1998.

SANDY PON

Pon, 52, is a real estate agent who helped house Fort McMurray residents during the wildfire as head of the Alberta Residentia­l Landlord Associatio­n. She was a United Way director and sits on the city’s community infill panel.
