Don Wheaton Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac

-

I can still remember hearing the “Don Wheaton Chevrolet” jingle playing on the radio as a small child. Then, as I got older and started going out on Whyte Ave., I would always walk by the dealership full of Corvettes and drool. Don Wheaton on Whyte has been around my entire life, and has been a staple in the community since 1963.

I began working closely with the dealership this year, and it’s not surprising to see Don Wheaton on Whyte win the Readers’ Choice Award for 2017.

The business provides a fantastic family-friendly atmosphere, and the staff always goes the extra mile to accommodate anyone who walks through the door. There are plenty of brands to choose from when buying a car, and Don Wheaton makes it easy. It’s the only dealership in Edmonton offering Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac all in one showroom.

Don Wheaton on Whyte has been around for a long time, but it has always kept up with the times by offering the latest in automotive technology. Cadillac is debuting its new Super Cruise system, the world’s first true handsfree driving system for the highway, on the new 2018 Cadillac CT6, and Don Wheaton will have them in stock so you can experience the future of driving.

The industry is always evolving as trends change, but Don Wheaton stays at the forefront. A perfect example is electric cars: the dealership has fully embraced the electric movement and now sells more electric vehicles than anyone else in the city.

It also makes sure to showcase the newest models and trims. Buick is introducing its top-ofthe-line sub brand Avenir on the 2018 Enclave and 2018 Lacrosse, and yes, you guessed it, Don Wheaton will have them.

Other dealerships are trying to crack into the video market, but none have done it to the level or extent that Don Wheaton on Whyte and the rest of the Wheaton Automotive Group have done with Drive Wheaton TV. They’ve created an in-house production team that produces consistent digital content.

Don Wheaton also understands the importance of giving back to the community. The dealership works closely with United Way to raise money for the less fortunate, and even donates dealership space so the organization can hold events.

Why Don Wheaton on Whyte? Why not.
