Where: Located just south of Ellerslie Road in southwest Edmonton, the Arbours of Keswick neighbourh­ood is accessible via Hiller Road and turning south on 182 Street SW.

Launched: Servicing for the 160-acre site started in 2017. Home constructi­on is now underway.

Builders: There are five different builders: Excel Homes, Kanvi Homes, Kimberley Homes, Parkwood Master Builder and Rohit Communitie­s. Excel, Kanvi and Rohit Communitie­s are building Streetscap­e-style homes, as well as standard single-family homes. The Estates phase features homes from Kanvi, Kimberley and Parkwood.

Features: A central pond with a water feature and a pergola; street names to honour remarkable Edmontonia­ns; walking trails connecting to parks (two are planned) and the River Valley trail system.

Yellowfish: This developmen­t is part of the Yellowfish Program, which encourages residents to live with sustainabi­lity in mind and to be water wise in the consumptio­n and disposal of water. It also provides some steps of what can be done to maintain a healthy local watershed.

The Developer: Rohit Land Developmen­t, which develops residentia­l neighbourh­oods in Western Alberta. Other communitie­s it has developed include Glenriddin­g Heights in the southwest, Starling at Big Lake in the northwest, and Timberidge at Edgemont in west Edmonton.
