Police on hunt for suspect in south side break-ins
Edmonton police are looking for a man tied to a string of break and enters in southwest Edmonton.
Investigators on Thursday released a photo of 38-year-old Joshua Luke Little, who is wanted in three alleged break and enters in the span of one month.
Police said the most recent occurred during the day Sunday near 213 Street and 50 Avenue.
A news release did not say whether anything was stolen.
Police believe Little is also a suspect in an Aug. 18 break-in at a home near 24 Avenue and 111A Street. A male suspect allegedly forced his way into the front door of the home as well as an attached garage, then stole personal identification documents, jewelry and two sets of vehicle keys.
Four days earlier, police suspect Little broke into a home on Blackburn Drive.
A woman who was home at the time fled the residence and called police.
The suspect allegedly took the resident’s 2017 Porsche Macan SUV after finding the vehicle’s keys inside the home.
Little was identified as the suspect in that break-in after investigators found surveillance footage of the area, the news release said.
Warrants have been issued for Little’s arrest in the Aug. 14 and Aug. 18 incidents.
He is described as five-foot-six, 215 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.
Anyone with information is asked to call Edmonton police or Crime Stoppers.
