Taxpayers, raise your voices now

City hall is at it again, wanting to raise property taxes. Are we not paying enough already? Now is the time for the silent majority to stand up and be heard. Call, email and send letters to your councillors and let them know of your dissatisfaction with property taxes going up yet again.

Businesses stand tall and make your voices heard. You pay a lot more than we homeowners do. We all need to take a stand and let city hall know that we are not prepared to pay any more. I know that I can’t afford any more than the $3,000 a year that I am paying now. And I am sure most other citizens can’t afford any more either.

If nothing is said, they will just continue to raise the taxes. Stand tall and make your voices heard.
