CanCon rock, Mike Plume, Dungeons and Dragons improv
Loverboy, Trooper and Kim Mitchell: The Grey Cup — where it’s perfectly acceptable for nines to dress up as threes! If you still listen to music at drive time in Edmonton, you’re probably well conditioned to hearing these AM radio bands three to eleven times a day.
But why not double down with a little face-to-face Mike Reno and the gang and a can of sponsorship beer I’m not going to name because they didn’t pay me?
Headlining — turn me loose, baby — it’s Loverboy time! Formed in Calgary, based in Vancouver, Loverboy are indeed working on, if not for, the weekend, while Trooper is ready to raise a little hell. I can taste the dad sweat already, this is gonna rawk, dawg!

Mike Plume: A quarter-century and 12 studio albums into his career, northern Alberta roots singersongwriter Mike Plume feels he’s got something right with Born By The Radio — some of the strongest material of his career.
Hopefully, the rocker plays So Long, Stompin’ Tom, which pushed Plume back into the national spotlight after it went viral, and he was even invited to play at the legendary nationalist’s memorial.

Featuring Edmonton’s only improv stagecombat spectacle, improvised music and giant 20-sided dice rolled by the audience, Sorry, Not Sorry Productions brings the famous tabletop roleplaying game to life.
