Edmonton companies top the list of 2019 BILD Alberta Awards finalists
The finalists for the 2019 BILD Alberta Awards have been announced, with Edmonton-based companies receiving the most nominations.
A total of 45 of Alberta’s home builders, land developers, professional renovators and safety leaders made the finalists list for the awards, presented by The Alberta New Home Warranty Program.
“We are excited to celebrate accomplishments across a wide range of categories, as we recognize members for excellence in home building, community developments, professional renovations and safety,” says Carmen Wyton, CEO, BILD Alberta.
“Despite the well-documented challenges the industry is facing this year, our members continue to represent the hard work and innovation that shapes our industry in Alberta.”
BILD Alberta received more than 300 submissions, which feature 28 individual categories. Edmonton region projects have 40 finalists, followed by Calgary region at 24, Lethbridge has 11 finalists and Central Alberta has six projects in the running for provincial awards.
The winning awards will be presented Sept. 13 at the BILD Horizons Conference in Jasper. Also to be announced at the conference are the prestigious Pinnacle Awards, presented to the highest scoring builders and renovator. Pinnacle winners demonstrate leadership in design, safety, volunteerism and customer satisfaction.
