DINGWALL, Robert Arthur

1931-2020 It is with saddened hearts the family of Robert Dingwall announces his passing on April 22, 2020 at the age of 88 years. He will be dearly missed by his daughters Dawn (Robin), Dianne (Rene), Denise (Lance), his brother Don Dingwall (Florence), sister-in-law Lauretta Dingwall; his five grandchildren Gary, BJ, Steven (Sam), Daryn (Claire), Jacy, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his wife Sharon, twin brother James, mother Reta, father Andrew, nieces Laurie and Tracy and son-in-law Roger. Bob was born in Calgary and moved to Edmonton as a child where he grew up and eventually joined the family business, OBSCO. In his late twenties, he met Sharon, they married in 1960 and raised their family of three daughters together. The family spent weekends and summer vacations at their cabin on Wabamun lake where you could always find Bob puttering around outside. Bob, Jim and Reta all retired together from OBSCO in 1995, when they sold the family beauty supply business. Due to the world crisis, a private interment will be held on May 29, at 1:30 at Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Sherwood Park where Bob will join Sharon in their final resting place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke foundation or SCARS. You are welcome to drive by during the interment to show your support for the family.
