An Edmonton man has been charged with multiple sexual offences against children and police are now seeking possible additional complainants.

In November 2020, Vegreville RCMP received reports of an alleged sexual offence that took place between 2018 and 2020 in the community roughly 100 kilometres east of Edmonton.

All the offences involve teenage girls who were known to the 53-year-old man.

On Thursday, RCMP executed a search warrant at a home in Edmonton, arresting one man.

Police also seized various electronic devices, documents and clothing.

Brad Dahr, 53, of Edmonton, is charged with two counts of sexual interference and one count of voyeurism for offences that are alleged to have occurred between Jan. 1, 2018, and Oct. 31, 2019.

He is also charged with sexual exploitation, luring a child, possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography, and making sexually explicit material available to a child for offences that are alleged to have occurred between April 1, 2020, and Oct. 31, 2020.

RCMP continue to investigate and are asking the public to come forward with any similar incidents that occurred in Edmonton, Vegreville, Drumheller, Beiseker, and Beauvallon, Alta., as well as the Lower Mainland, B.C., and Yellowknife, N.W.T.

Dahr has been known in these areas as “Pastor Brad,” RCMP said in a news release.

Following a judicial hearing, Dahr was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear in Vegreville provincial court on May 3.
