BEAUTY LESSONS

It has been a while since I read a fashion magazine, but your July 2014 issue has definitely got me back in the spirit. I loved “Fresh Hair” [ELLE Beauty]. After suffering from an illness that caused me to lose most of my hair, I was devastated. As silly as it may sound, a woman’s hair is a part of her; it can transform an outfit, complement makeup and give her confidence. My illness forced me to rely on my inner beauty. It has been a difficult recovery, but most of my hair is finally growing back. Your feature gave me a sense of confidence—not only in my hair but in the beauty inside me.
