Memory lane

It was a delight to read about Nancy Phillips and her backyard carousel in the Editor’s Note [September 2015]. My husband and I were lucky enough to enjoy several invitations to ride the carousel. One of the best times was at a Christmas party; after dinner, with glasses of champagne in hand, we walked out into the snow for a ride. It was the highlight of the evening.
