I read your interview with actress Jessica Chastain [ELLE Celebrity, September 2017] and something she said really resonated with me: “It’s easier for men to accept a woman in power if they find her sexually desirable.... We need to understand that women have more to offer than their sexual desirability.” Heeeeelll, yes! I feel this way too. In my experience, there’s too much emphasis or value put on a woman’s level of physical attractiveness. Yes, I like to dress up and look “pretty,” but that’s not all I am. Let’s focus on a woman’s intellect, ambition, abilities (which are many) and personality in all its multifaceted diverseness.
